Thank you for visiting our website:

Lake Chelan Rotary is an action oriented group of men and women focused on local and global efforts to improve the quality of life for all people. We have been servicing the communities of the Lake Chelan Valley since 1926. Some of the beneficiaries of the clubs efforts locally have included the Food Bank, Chelan Valley Hope, and Give Naked and many high school club activities.

Here in the Lake Chelan Valley our focus is on education, literacy and helping to serve the needs of those less fortunate. We support scholarships scholarships to deserving college bound Chelan and Manson High School seniors and students seeking a vocational interest following high school and exceptional second year students.  We are also support and are involved with the Chelan High School Interact Club that we sponsored in 2011.  The Interact students visited Guatemala in 2013 and are planning to visit Nicaragua in June 2015.

Internationally, we are part of Rotary Internationals Polio Plus program, a very successful 30 year effort to eliminate Polio worldwide. and support the Nkoilale Primary School in Kenya.

Lake Chelan Rotary has its own 501(c)3, known as the Lake Chelan Rotary Community & International Fund (“The Fund”).  You can make tax deducable donations to “The Fund” online by following the link on this Homepage.  “The Fund” will have its own webpage very soon.

Each and every week we publish a newsletter known as LakeViews.  LakeViews has won the District 5060 award of being the best newsletter for each of the last five years.  You can see the most recent copy of LakeViews by going to “News” or by using the link on this home page.

Lake Chelan Rotary Club members are all volunteers. We joined Rotary because we want to participate in making our community and world a better place to live, and we have fun doing it. If you are a like-minded person, check us out. Attend one of our meetings as our guest. Membership is open to individuals regardless of religious or political affiliation.

About Us

Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization. More than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders volunteer their time and talent to further the Rotary motto, Service Above Self. They provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary international clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.

Lake Chelan Rotary was chartered in 1926 and has been going strong ever since. Currently over 60 men and women are active members and we have 3 honorary members.

Our regular meeting is held at Campbell’s Resort each Tuesday beginning at 11:45 a.m.
